Soot lost Mr. Mouse, her previous favorite toy.

After a couple of weeks, she has selected this one, which I dub Ms. Cherry, to be her favorite toy.

I bought a half dozen of these because I knew she'd destroy/lose them. She only plays with her 'favorite', goodness knows how she decides. But once she does, she carries it around and demands I throw it.

3 years ago, during our honeymoon we got a message about a litter of potatoes that were born the night before. Those potatoes are now big, rambunctious, and 3 years old. We love them with all our hearts.
